Warwickshire Amateur Community Theatre (Warwickshire ACT) is pleased to announce the line-up for the 2014 ACT One Act Play Festival.

Eight local groups will come together to celebrate their passion for live theatre at Townsend Hall, Sheep Street, Shipston On Stour, CV36 4AE at 7.30pm on the 12th, 13th and 14 June 2014.

There is a different selection of plays each evening at a bargain price of only £3 a night. Groups come from all over South Warwickshire covering Barford, Cubbington, Harbury, Kineton, Lighthorne, Southam, Shipston and Stratford. The event is open to everyone and tickets are available on the door, on 01789 868225 or online.

The line-up for the three evening’s entertainment is as follows:

Thursday 12th
Grange Players (Southam) presents ‘Calling Time’ by Derek Webb.
Harbury Theatre Group presents ‘Visitors from Chicago’ by Neil Simon.

Friday 13th
Lighthorne Drama Group presents ‘Tell Me Another Story, Sing Me a Song’ by Jean Lenox Toddie.
Kineton Amateur Dramatic Society presents ‘Hound Dog’ by Ginny Davis.
Caramba Theatre Group (Stratford) presents ‘The Strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde’ adapted by Kate Guest from the story by R L Stevenson.

Saturday 14th
Barford Drama Group presents ‘Return Journey’ and ‘A Child’s Christmas in Wales’ by Dylan Thomas.
Cubbington Players presents ‘Cards, Cups and Crystal Balls’ by David Campion.
Shipston Amateur Dramatic Society presents ‘The Proposal’ by Anton Chekov.
