At 8pm on Wednesday 13 February, Warwickshire ACT will be hosting a stage fighting workshop at Kineton Village Hall. Drawing on expertise from our own Caramba Theatre Company, we will be explaining how to act out convincing conflict in a variety of forms on stage.

Warwickshire ACT will be running a theatrical make-up and wigs workshop with Brenda Leedham a (semi) retired RSC wig maker with over 40 years of experience working with RSC theatres in Stratford-upon-Avon and London. Brenda started her RSC career with a summer job in the 1960s and ended up training on the job, travelling the world and working with many well known actors, singers and dancers over her long career.

At the moment they are considering 'Prescription For Murder' by Norman Robbins. Lighthorne Drama Group are currently casting a comedy one act for May 2010 called 'Woomerang'. The comedy is set in the waiting room of a gynaecology clinic and written by Sue Townsend of Adrian Mole fame. Lighthorne are looking for additional women to take parts in the play, one is in her late 30s, one younger and pregnant.
